Welcome to the Triton Subscriber Portal, the dedicated platform for Neptune customers to manage their services. Here, you can access your invoices, perform health checks and self-diagnostics, reach out to customer support, update payment details, adjust your plan, and control VPN and Atmosphere DNS settings. To get started, head to https://triton.neptune.net.au and sign in.

Getting Started: Logging In

At Triton, you have multiple options to sign in:

  1. Sign in with Google

  2. Sign in with Apple

  3. Create an account with email

If you opt for an email account for enhanced security and a seamless login experience, we highly recommend using Passkeys.

What are Passkeys?

Passkeys are a secure and user-friendly alternative to traditional passwords, offering an added layer of security through public key cryptography. With Passkeys, you don’t need to remember a password; Instead of a password, you authenticate with a device-based method, such as a PIN, ensuring strong security that helps protect against phishing attacks and other common security risks.

Strengthening Your Account Security with MFA

To further protect your account, we require customers to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Triton offers two options for MFA:

  1. TOTP Authenticator App (Recommended): You can use any Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) authenticator app, such as Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or similar apps, to generate a unique and frequently updated code for secure account access.

  2. SMS Authentication: While convenient, SMS-based MFA is less secure than Google Authenticator. SMS messages can be intercepted or compromised, making it a weaker option for account security. Please verify the sender and make sure that it is NEPTUNE if you use SMS.

For maximum protection, we recommend using Google Authenticator over SMS-based MFA.

Navigating the Triton Dashboard

Services page

Once you’re logged in, you’ll be directed to the Triton dashboard, where you can view and manage all aspects of your Neptune subscription, including:

  • View IPv4 and IPv6 Addresses: Easily access your assigned IP addresses.

  • Service Status: Your service status can be Pending, Active, Away, Paused, or Cancelled.

    • Active: Indicates that your service is up and running.

    • Pending: Appears when your service is not yet active or is undergoing modifications. During this time, the service will be locked from updates.

    • Away Mode: Ideal for maintaining connectivity for smart home devices while you’re away.

    • Pause and Cancel: Both modes disconnect your service from the NBN. However, Pause mode aims to retain your IP addresses for when you return.

  • Invoice and Payment Method Update: Use this link to update your payment method or view past invoices. You can also cancel your service here.

  • Change Plan: Update your plan once daily. Any prepaid amounts will be prorated toward the next invoice.

  • Away Mode: Set your service to Away Mode for $1.30 per day, including GST, with a speed cap of 10 Mbps for both downloads and uploads. This mode is designed to keep your smart devices online while you’re traveling and is not intended as a standalone plan.

Actions Menu

The Actions Menu provides quick access to essential service management options for your Neptune subscription. It includes the following options:

  • Atmosphere: Access and manage your Atmosphere DNS settings, helping to enhance the privacy of your service.

  • Health Checks: Run automated self-diagnostics for your service. This feature allows you to perform NBN tests and view updates regarding the health status of your service, enabling proactive troubleshooting and monitoring.

  • Pause: Temporarily pause your service, which disconnects you from the NBN but attempts to retain your IP addresses for when you’re ready to resume.

  • Cancel: Permanently cancel your service, which will terminate the connection and release any associated resources.
